Brickers Foundation Announces Brickers Fest, a New Community Festival Coming to Northern Virginia

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Free community event will bring nonprofits, local organizations, businesses, volunteers, and families together in one place.

NORTHERN VIRGINIA The Brickers Foundation has announced the launch of Brickers Fest, a free, family-friendly community festival planned for October 2026 in Northern Virginia.

Created to strengthen connections between nonprofit organizations and the communities they serve, Brickers Fest will bring local resources, organizations, businesses, volunteers, and residents together for a day centered on connection, discovery, and community involvement.

Brickers Fest is about creating a space where people can actually meet the organizations doing work in their communities, learn what resources are available, and find ways to get involved, said Ericson Brickers, President of the Brickers Foundation. There are so many people and organizations doing meaningful work. We want to help bring them together.

Brickers Fest is being developed as a one-day outdoor festival with opportunities for attendees to meet nonprofit organizations, discover community resources, learn about volunteer opportunities, connect with local partners and businesses, and spend the day engaging with their community.

The event is expected to welcome families and community members, nonprofit organizations, volunteers, local businesses, sponsors, donors, and community partners.

The Brickers Foundation is currently working to finalize the event venue and date. Additional information, including participating organizations, registration details, volunteer opportunities, sponsorship opportunities, and the full event schedule, will be announced as planning continues.

Organizations and businesses interested in supporting Brickers Fest through sponsorship, donations, partnerships, or participation can learn more at the Official Brickers Fest page.

Community members can also follow the Brickers Foundation for upcoming announcements and event details.
