The Brickers Foundation was so grateful to attend the Microsoft Global Nonprofit Leaders Summit, joining nonprofit leaders from all around the world to explore collaborations, innovation, and the future of community impact.

President and Founder Ericson Brickers attended the summit to connect with other organizations making purposeful change across diverse communities while identifying new opportunities for partnerships and growth.

"This ties directly to our mission," said Eriscon. "Microsoft has provided a platform for nonprofits to come together to learn from each other and see how, as a collective unit, we can make the world a better place."

The summit brought together a great mix of nonprofit leaders, innovators, and community advocates to talk about emerging technologies, organizational challenges, and opportunities to strengthen impact through collaboration. For the foundation, this event served as an opportunity to both learn from others and share the organization's main commitment to supporting nonprofits through visibility, partnership, and community engagement.

"We provide a platform for nonprofits to shine and make sure they receive the exposure they deserve. My role here is to represent our organization, be a voice for nonprofits, and let them know there is support available." Ericson said.

The Brickers Foundation is a global volunteer-driven organization with more than 365 volunteers worldwide. The foundation understands the importance of connection across communities, industries, and geographic boundaries. This summit reinforced the organization's belief that meaningful change happens when organizations work together toward a common purpose.

"There is power in community," Ercison shared during the event. "I always say it takes community to build community."

Throughout the summit, topics focused on nonprofit leadership, technology, volunteer engagement, and building sustainable partnerships. The foundation also explored how emerging tools and digital platforms can help organizations better serve their communities while maintaining strong connections across remote and global teams.

This event resonates with several initiatives currently underway at the foundation, including expanded nonprofit partnerships, internship opportunities, scholarship development, leadership programming, and community-centered events designed to create and support greater access and impact.

When looking ahead, the foundation remains committed to creating opportunities for nonprofits, volunteers, students, and community leaders to connect, grow, and serve.

"Our volunteers are the engine that makes our organization work," Ericson said. "We want to provide a platform where people can develop their skills, pursue their passions, and make a meaningful difference in the communities they serve."

The Brickers Foundation wishes to extend a thanks to Microsoft for hosting this important event and for creating a space where nonprofit leaders can collaborate, learn, and strengthen their collective impact.

Together, we continue building stronger communities through service, partnership, and purpose.
